Filadelfia Secondary School (Learners with Special Education Needs) is situated in Soshanguve block-L. We currently address the disadvantages kids born with albinism. These kids have monthly needs for their skin cosmetics like Sunscreen and soaps to bring back confidence in them and enjoy the beauty they are born with as special kids. Albinism is a genetic disorder, and there is currently no cure. Treatment focuses on getting proper eye care and monitoring skin for problems. As the cost of the treatment is costly and many families are disadvantaged and struggling to afford treatment for their kids. Bomore Foundation assists with Sunscreens and soaps monthly to supply the kids at Filadelfia.
Pretoria Central Feeding Project
Food and nutrition affect the long-term wellbeing of our communities and our children. Although being a basic human right, hundreds of people are forced to skip meals or eat the same meal for more than one day. For those living in extreme poverty, hunger is a daily battle. But they don't have to fight it alone. Bomore foundation currently makes a difference by feeding up to 100 people once a week due to budget constraints. Our wish is to feed 100 daily to secure one meal a day for these community. Together, we can make the difference in the life of a hungry person by donating to, volunteering at or raising funds for NPO’s that feeds the hungry. This way we can ensure that everyone in the Pretoria Central in Gauteng has access to safe, healthy and nutritious food.
